Project Manager

Your Role

  • Overall responsibility for the commercial and operational management of FPSO projects 
  • Ensure seamless interface and execution between BWS clients for efficient project delivery 
  • Review and enhance existing operational processes and procedures for improved efficiency 
  • Lead and mentor the project team, providing guidance and support 
  • Bid for new tenders and RFPs issued by clients to expand business opportunities 
  • Monitor and manage the profit and loss (P&L) of projects 
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance 
  • Implement efficient work processes to optimize project operations 
  • Handle logistics for projects and regular shipments, including coordination of road, air, sea, or other transportation methods 
  • Manage quoting, organizing, billing, documentation, and execution of shipments from door to door 
  • Analyze the schedule, quality, and performance of subcontractors and suppliers 
  • Assess the performance of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure high-quality services 
  • Adhere to ISO and OHSAS standards and guidelines provided by the company 
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and promote a safe working environment for all team members 
  • Continuously work towards reducing the environmental impact of projects based on defined targets 
  • Estimate and project financial developments to ensure financial viability of projects 
  • Provide monthly reports to management regarding project status and financial performance 
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities to support company growth 
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of E&P processes, including management of change 
  • Ensure sufficient and appropriate resources are available in the operational team to meet project requirements 

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, project management) or equivalent practical experience 
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in Freight Forwarding 
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels 
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
